Kết Fai is a new coffee & cocktails venue at 138 Đỗ Bá, located right in the An Thượng Western Quarter, just a few minutes’ walk from the beach. By day, Kết Fai has the feel of a quiet Da Nang café, with natural light flooding in through the frontage and the front veranda. The space is not too large, but it is arranged cleverly, with a second floor, single tables for people working, and small tables for groups of friends or couples who want a private conversation. As the afternoon turns into evening, the venue clearly shifts its atmosphere. The lighting is dimmed, warm-toned lights combine with neon and a disco ball to create a relaxed, intimate yet still distinctive feeling. The music is carefully selected at this time as well—just enough to keep the mood lively and light, without being noisy, making it very suitable for dates after a beach stroll or after finishing a day in the An Thượng area. At night, Kết Fai operates as a proper cocktail bar. There is an open bar counter, bottles and jars are neatly arranged, and the bartender mixes flexibly according to each guest’s taste. The drink menu is diverse, from coffee and cocktails to made-to-order drinks, along with snacks to enjoy. The staff are friendly and attentive to every small detail, creating a pleasant feeling even when the venue is busy. If you’re looking for a Da Nang café that is close to the beach and where you can sit from daytime into the evening, Kết Fai is definitely worth a visit. It is an unpretentious space, but refined enough that every time of day has its own distinct character, very much in tune with the slow pace of life in the An Thượng Western Quarter.
