The name “CCCP” may seem simple, but it holds deep meaning: it is the abbreviation for the “Union of Soviet Socialist Republics” (in Russian: Союз Советских Социалистических Республик). Inspired by the friendship between Vietnamese and Soviet soldiers during wartime, the café brings a sense of longing and nostalgia, while also serving as a place where the younger generation can find a creative space and a peaceful refuge in the heart of the city. The café space is designed like a miniature “military base,” with camouflage tones, army green, and rustic wood. On the wall stands out an impressive 3D mural of a tank bursting through the wall — a detail that makes everyone stop and take photos. Inside, there is a quiet air-conditioned area, the upper floor is suitable for working or group studying, and the spacious ground floor is ideal for meeting friends. The staff wear military-style uniforms and provide quick, friendly service — all of which contributes to the distinctive style of Da Nang coffee spots with a strong Soviet imprint.
